This room is extremely elegant and features quite a few different wall paintings that are enjoyable to look at. The two smaller paintings are on the other side of the room and each one features a woman in a long dress. The other painting is of a long tree branch, almost as if it were reaching for the person laying in the bed. The rest of the room has modern features, such as the fixture on the ceiling. All the colors coordinate well with one another.
Shelves are another functional wall decoration. Wooden shelves add warmth to a room while metal shelves have a modern edge. Stagger the shelves at different levels or use differing lengths to create interest. Choose a design with decorative brackets or go for floating shelves. Boxed shelves resemble an artistic frame within which your objects become the picture. A shaped shelf, such as a circle with internal dividers, provides different storage areas within an attractive design.

When decorating your bedroom, your first question should be “headboard or no headboard?” If you have one, is it low or high? For a high headboard, where the space above may be minimal, keep it simple. Put three smaller artworks in a row a few inches above the headboard or consider one long, narrow, panoramic artwork. If you have either a low or no headboard, a grouping of three or more artworks can work beautifully depending on the type and the height of your bedside lamps. Consider these options: center a great abstract with a restful view of the horizon and place two complementary pieces on either side over the lamps. This reflects the symmetry that often works well in bedrooms. Or, depending on the width of the wall, cluster smaller artworks into an arrangement that extends beyond the bed and over the bedside lamps. It’s easy to use art to tie all of the elements of your bedroom together.
When I look at this room, it comes to my attention that the theme of it is sailor bears. You can see all of the décor is centered around bears and sailing. Both the crib and the dresser match in texture and color, which is nice. The walls are painted a mustard color, which seems to work well with the navy blue. My favorite part of the room would probably have to be the necessity holder off to the left side.
If you didn’t notice, there is a large variety of different wall hangings behind the bed. I think that they tell a story about he owner of the bedroom. It expresses their creativity and individuality. The room itself is rather small, but they make the best out of the space that they have. I love those cure little stairs that are next to the bed. I wonder if they lead up to a loft?
Make sure you’re never late with a clock. Hang one in a prominent place, such as above the television or over the kitchen countertop. Choose a design that stands out, including clocks with big numbers and brightly colored hands to those with natural coloring and a numberless design. In your bedroom, place a traditional-style alarm clock on the shelf next to your bed for a fun and charming, albeit noisy touch when it’s time to wake up.
This luxurious bedroom sporting a combination of dark and bright colors gives off the impression of wealth and royalty. With more ornate or gold-plated furniture, it brings back the splendor of La Belle Epoque. The dark paintings and heavy curtains cover the walls making the ambient more secluded and personal while the covered lamps and antique-looking chandelier keep the room well-lit. The large bed gives it a comforting look or an otherwise serious environment.
Frames are a terrific way to display photos of family and friends. Choose them with or without internal borders and decide whether to stand them on shelving or hang them on a wall. For shelving, a swivel design adds a unique touch. For your wall, go for gallery frames to display numerous photos in a pretty design. The material you opt for needs to complement your decor and with frames of polished brass or nickel, antiqued bronze, reclaimed wood, mirrored glass, bamboo, marble and more, there’s plenty of options for you to get the right look.
